All clay pieces are fired twice, once for bisque when the clay work is completely dry and then when glazed to 1260 in an electric kiln.

Based in North Yorkshire, UK. Charlotte Salt's clay work is intuitively hand crafted using coiling, slab-building, modelling and pinching techniques. Each piece she creates is unique, from the brush strokes on the surface to the physical imprints that intentionally remain, serving as a testament to the making process
